Principal - Jon Wilhoit
Jon
Wilhoit founded Elite Sales Professionals Inc. in January
of 2002, recognizing a need for sales recruiting help by recruiters
who had actually lived the life of technology sales and sales
management executives.
“Our
focus is to use our experience in IT sales and insurance/financial
services to better understand our clients’ needs, the
search assignment parameters, the draw to an Alpha-level sales
person, and the wishes and concerns of our candidates. With
that deeper understanding and connection to our own experiences,
we can better serve the needs of our customers and candidates.”
Mr.
Wilhoit has had successful sales/sales management roles with
EDS, Syntel, CGI, and INSpire selling outsourcing, software,
and BPO services to a variety of industry verticals. His emphasis
has been primarily selling into the insurance vertical, leveraging
the business knowledge that comes with years of selling commercial
P&C, Life, and Health insurance. Mr. Wilhoit's educational
background includes Solution Selling by Michael Bosworth,
Holden's Power-Base Selling, Wilson Learning's The Versatile
Salesperson, Aetna's home office sales school - where he won
the Blue Ribbon, the Certified Insurance Counselor designation,
an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas, and a BBA
in Finance from the University of Georgia.
When
not focused on the business of Elite Sales Professionals Inc.
(and many times, even then), Mr. Wilhoit spends time with
